CIE Introduces Comprehensive List of Technical Report Datasets

The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) is pleased to announce the launch of a dedicated page that provides a comprehensive list of datasets included in various CIE Technical Reports and International Standards.

This new resource aims to offer researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts easy access to vital datasets. In certain instances, the dataset itself is directly available for download. In others, users are directed to the specific CIE document where the dataset is located. To ensure clarity and consistency, every dataset is accompanied by a metadata file. The definition of the metadata scheme utilized for these CIE data tables is freely accessible at https://doi.org/10.25039/CIE.SC.4taqevcd.

For user convenience, datasets are organized in alphabetical order based on the data table name, with some carrying a CIE prefix. A search functionality has also been integrated, allowing users to quickly locate datasets by searching for specific keywords contained in the data table names.

It’s important to note that this initiative is ongoing. The CIE is committed to continually updating the page by adding more datasets and introducing a field for quantity.
