Luminaire Broker Celebrates First Year

March saw the one year anniversary since the launch of Luminaire Broker.

Who could have predicted the disruption to businesses and livelihoods.  Despite this ambitious launch in a global pandemic the platform has been a success.   Luminaire Broker is a tool to facilitate communication between specifiers and lighting equipment suppliers. It creates the means for specifiers to be exposed to a greater range of products, and suppliers to closely match their products to specific requirements. Luminaire Broker improves the process for selecting lighting products for a project and streamlines the preparation of lighting specifications.

Luminaire Broker has been developed to support Lighting Designers and Electrical Engineers in developing and specifying the lighting schemes for their projects, allowing them to match the optimal lighting product to each application.

Now the business is focussing on the introduction of circular principles and criteria.  The plan later in the year is to open up Luminaire Broker for any and all designers to use.

Over 240 individual lighting supplier companies are registered, spread over 370 supplier users.
