WIA Berlin 2021, is set to put the lighting profession in the right light and discuss lighting design in architecture today.

“The Path to an Unknown Field” – In this panel discussion, meet two women lighting designers, a freelance journalist, two lighting industry representatives, a professor, a researcher, and an artist (with an all-around background in lighting) as they discuss lighting design and the lighting industry in architecture and art together.

Learn more about this somewhat new profession and how women are helping to shape it, the different paths to the profession and its facets, and the industry now. We also want to talk about the future, as we plan our future now: what challenges are shaping our industry now and what impact will they have on the future?
In the roundtable, the panel aims to interact with the audience, to convey each individual experiences with light.

Prior to this event, there will already be a presentation “Niche Thinking – Together with an Expert in Preventive Fire Protection”, which will also deal with a rather unknown field and how to get to this vocation.
