BRILLIANT+ is another brilliant idea of the Italian Ambassador Giorgia Brusemini, who is organising a series of monthly empowerment meetings curated by her blog Ogni casa è Illuminata and designed to help Italian women working in lighting to grow their own business. Together with the designer Martina Frattura (and R.A.W blogger), they will invite professionals and coaches to share educational moments and address different topics such as: making the best use of one’s soft skills, identifying the tools that allow you to improve time management, using social media to the fullest.  This is supported by Formalighting.

There is a new R.A.W blog from Dipali Shirsat in interview with the amazing Jaqueline Hen. The idea behind R.A.W is to highlight the work of women in lighting that not have previously heard of. Read about her work here.

You can help us showcase other women in lighting. The History of Women In Lighting survey closes on 1st May, 2021. Click here to participate.

The woman designing the Women in Lighting Awards is Lorena Catinari. Lorena is a visionary explorer and results-driven Industrial Designer. She has a particular interest in innovation, technological solutions, sustainability, and branding.

he WIL Awards will close on 31st April. You can submit your nomination here.
