OpenAIS Consortium Will Present Its Project Results In Eindhoven on May 23rd

Over the past three years a consortium of leading European companies worked on a project called OpenAIS.  Partly funded by the EU within the Horizon 2020 program, the project was established to address the challenges of the Internet of Lights. The OpenAIS project developed technical solutions to fulfil the requirements of a professional lighting system, building as much as possible on existing and emerging IoT standards and components and adding only what was really necessary. The resulting OpenAIS system architecture enables advanced IP based lighting controls, and in addition the use of the lighting system as an infrastructure for other services.

At the symposium the OpenAIS consortium will present its project results and learnings, and will demonstrate the pilot implementation of the OpenAIS architecture in the industrial heritage building “De Witte Dame” in Eindhoven (NL).

The event is open to everyone who is working in the field of IoT, professional lighting, building automation or building management. Students are also welcome.

Attendance is free but registration is required.
