Luminaire Broker announced updates to help improve and transform the way lighting is specified and improve engagement within the lighting market.
The platform has introduced Circular Lighting principles within the application, which reflects Arup’s commitment to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. New questions within the Luminaire Broker enquiry will be asked and the specification process allows designers to make informed product decisions based on materials, procurement & supply chain, and operation and maintenance strategies; as well as exploring opportunities for the re-use, regeneration or recycling of lighting systems and their embodied materials. A key development that will enable support of the UN initiative.
Luminaire Broker has expanded in Europe with the aim to have all lighting specifiers in Arup in every region using Luminaire Broker. The platform will be launching in the US very soon, a big milestone for the expansion of the platform.
