Professor Christian Bartenbach celebrates his 90th birthday today! Most of the 90 years of his life were “light years”! Anyone who has dealt with daylight or artificial light more intensively could not get past him! He has been called “Pope of Light, Light Pioneer, Master of Light” through his successful realisation of many well-known national and international projects.
Bartenbach is an award winning lighting design and research consultancy nestled in the mountains above Innsbruck. A team of architects, physicists, psychologists and designers forging individual lighting solutions. This interdisciplinary team is proud to be part of the international scientific community network, always at the cutting edge of research.
