Announced at CES, GE Lighting is expanding its C by GE portfolio in 2019, adding new platforms to help consumers realise more benefits across the home, including families of smart wall switches, full colour lights and accessories. GE’s C by GE brand is hoping to ‘Lights the Way You Live’ with all-in-one lighting solutions that should solve real-world challenges, and tap into new potential at home, enabling homeowners to do more and be better.The expansion of products also brings a diversification of partners, seeing GE build solutions compatible with Google, Amazon and Apple, aiming to increase user adoption, ease of set-up and every-day control.

The C by GE will be ready for use with Made for Google, this industry-first means without an extra hub and in just one app, homeowners can use the Google Home, Google Mini, Google Max or Google Home Hub to quickly and easily set-up and seamlessly connect and control the new C by GE full-colour bulbs. This is made possible through a Bluetooth connection between the products.

Over the course of the year you will see the launch of the full colour LEDS bulbs, Smart Sensors and switches, and Smart Accessories.
