On May 24 and 25, 2018, the 10th edition of the Architekturtage — Austria’s largest biennial architecture and Baukulturevent — will once again be taking place across the nation. Bringing complex topics closer to the interested public, this year’s highly varied programme has the motto RAUM MACHT KLIMA (“Spaces Force Climate“).

The many meanings of the term climate will be explored in a series of guided walks and curated tours, talks with architects, creative art interventions, and studio and construction site visits. The Architekturtage sharpens awareness for quality sustainable design and encourage the perception of architecture in many different ways.

The Architekturtage 2019 are under the auspices of Federal President Dr. Alexander Van der Bellen.

In Vorarlberg you can discover architecture in the surroundings of the medieval city centre of Feldkirch, sharing information on developing and growing neighbourhoods and the process of Urbanisation of the entire region. Use of existing building stock, creation of housing, correct management of resources and bold investments are exciting themes to explore in the city. The program is diverse and to find out more information visit the vai website.
