New challenges and new projects coming our way.
What do you most want to see from lighting manufacturers in 2020?
We have seen lots of improvements from the early LED days, perhaps I would like to see narrower optics, or more adjustable smarter adjustability or focusing. Probably more stability on the products launched, especially replacement lamps seem to phase out in a matter of months.
Have you already booked your summer vacation?
Not yet, but plans are cooking.

The new black diffusers everybody is now releasing
Which project are you most proud of?
A resort hotel in the Caribbean, the Park Hyatt St. Kitts was the first of its kind and with it, there’s always challenges to be surpassed.

How is sustainability changing your job?
Not challenging, I think we need to be the ones driving the sustainability harder.

Since 2013 Magdalena has worked at Elektra Lighting® Design in London and has recently been promoted to Design Director. She studied Architecture in Mexico specialising in Urban Design followed by a Masters in Architectural Lighting in Germany.
